Galicia as its 4 provinces, four Atlantic provinces and the only community whose whole territory drains west. Each province is an editable shape with its INE code, and the 313 municipal borders of the community run across the map as context lines. For most Spanish datasets this is the level that joins cleanly to a region: the community totals hide the differences between its provinces, and the municipal level is too fine to map by hand.
Typical use: Galicia-level reporting, regional planning, and any figure published per province.
All 4 provinces are in the file:
A Coruña, Lugo, Ourense, Pontevedra.
